The CDCA Charity Quiz Night in Ballygalget GAA Social Club on 12th Sept was a fantastic success with over £2000 being raised.  After expenses the total proceeds are just over £1600 which will be donated to the local primary schools and used for CDCA community projects.  The Community Association is indebted to our intrepid quizmaster, Liam Braniff who organised and hosted the event.  As well as the table quiz there was a prize draw, a ballot with over 30 prizes and an auction.

Our sincere thanks also to Kellie Armstrong who alos put a lot of work into the event and to everyone else from the Committee who sold ballots, draw tickets and obtained the huge number of prizes from 'volunteers'.
