First beach clean-up of 2010 Organised by CDCA, this event attracted about 20 volunteers. Armed with gloves, litter-pickers and black bags, they scoured Cloughey beach last Saturday Some 42 bags of litter was collected as well as a number of larger items including a plastic road contractors sign from Blackpool!

Keeping it going Several local residents make regular collections on 'their' section of the beach and their combined efforts help us to achieve our aim of 'the cleanest beach in Northern Ireland'.
