A plaque to record the assistance of the Co-operative Bank Membership & Community Fund towards the funding of the Phormium plants that provide some shelter and protection for the garden from the East winds.

A work party of CDCA Committee members assisted by Mark Newell and son Reuben overcame the logistical problem of transporting and installing the very heavy piece of timber with the plaques.

Joe Maclean organised the special piece of oak and Lee Jenkinson, Alistair Dunn, Mark Newell and Reuben Newell then transported it, dug the hole, and filled it with with stones + concrete to secure the sculpture and the plaque.
